Bogotá Business Growth Spurs Demand for Targeted Networking Events
Executives tracking the 6 percent rise in company formation should map their calendars to sector events that connect startups, corporates and investors.
How we reported this

Colombia Tech Week 2026 runs from August 10 to 16 in Bogotá as the city’s largest business networking festival, drawing more than 33,000 attendees and 500 investors to sessions that link startups, corporates and funds.
The timing matters because the Bogotá Region recorded 496,686 active companies, with business creation rising 6 percent from January to November 2025 compared with the prior year. That expansion has increased demand for structured meetings where owners can meet potential partners without traveling abroad.
Tech and AI sessions fill second-half calendar
WebCongress Colombia, focused on artificial intelligence and digital strategy, is set for November at the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce Salitre Center and includes dedicated networking sessions. The Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá organizes additional sector roundtables and workshops throughout the year, serving as the main venue for formal B2B contact. AmCham Colombia and CAMACOES also run regular events for the international corporate community based in the capital.
These gatherings concentrate in the second half of the year, aligning with the period when most annual conferences occur. Companies active in digital services can use the November program to test partnerships before year-end planning cycles begin.
Green economy events add investor access
Expo Greentech Colombia takes place each May at the Centro de Eventos I-Expo, bringing sustainability and clean-energy investors together with local project developers. The event gives firms in those sectors direct exposure to specialized capital that general business forums do not reach.
With 397,000 active micro, small and medium enterprises already operating in Bogotá, owners who attend even one targeted summit gain access to networks that the Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá supports through more than 600 free services. The chamber has assisted more than 205,000 entrepreneurs and provided personalized guidance to 4,185 initiatives in recent periods.
Firms should review the remaining 2026 schedule now and register for at least one event that matches their sector, using the listed venues and dates to allocate travel and preparation time before the next quarter begins.
