Bogotá Tech Founders Pack Meetups as Startup Activity Accelerates

More than 180 people registered this week for three back-to-back tech meetups scheduled between July 13 and July 18 in Bogotá, with sessions set at coworking spaces in Chapinero and a larger gathering planned near Parque 93 in Usaquén.
The uptick follows months of local founders pivoting toward logistics and fintech tools after the Strait of Hormuz disruptions raised shipping costs for Colombian importers. Organizers at the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce noted that companies once focused on consumer apps now seek partners who can build supply-chain software, and they are using these meetups to make those connections quickly.
Chapinero and Usaquén venues host the sessions
One session on July 14 will run at the Impact Hub location on Calle 67 in Chapinero, where attendees can use the ground-floor event room equipped for 60 people. A follow-up event on July 16 moves to the WeWork space on Carrera 11 in Usaquén, offering rooftop networking after a short pitch round. Both spots sit within walking distance of TransMilenio stations, keeping travel times short for developers based in La Candelaria or Suba.
Local programs such as the Ruta Emprendedora incubator and the Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá’s Emprende program are listed as co-hosts, each providing mentors who have already scaled companies past the 50-employee mark.
Numbers show steady growth in attendance
Chamber of Commerce data released last month counted 1,240 active tech startups in the city at the end of 2025, up 22 percent from the prior year. Average ticket prices for the July meetups sit at 35,000 Colombian pesos, with early-bird spots sold out by July 10. Past events at the same venues drew 120 participants in March; current registrations already exceed that figure by 50 percent.
Founders who want to attend the remaining spots can register through the Cámara de Comercio website before July 13 or show up at the door if capacity allows. The final session on July 18 will include a short demo slot for any company that brings a working prototype.
