Bogotá ranked third in Latin America for startup funding and performance in the Startup Genome global report and secured $110 million in direct foreign investment during fiscal year 2021. Tech salaries have risen 83 percent over five years, nearly doubling earnings for professionals compared with 2019 levels.
Colombia Tech Week 2026, scheduled for August 10-16, will bring more than 33,000 attendees and 500 investors to the city for networking across startup, corporate and investment tracks. AI Tinkerers continues monthly meetups at venues such as Cowork La 97 and the Hub de Innovación del Sena, providing regular forums for skill sharing in emerging fields.
